The 2026 Sundance Film Festival has officially ended, marking the end of an era. After nearly 50 years, the festival will leave Park City, Utah, and be held in Boulder, Colorado, in 2027.
These photos capture various happenings from the first weekend of the festival, from events to street life. Sundance will be missed in this state, and The Globe appreciated the opportunity to capture some of the festival’s last moments.
