Signing up for the new Bruin Bucks meal plan is a way for Salt Lake Community College students to stay fed when funds are low.

According to the Student Services center at South City Campus, for every $50 a student loads onto their OneCard Bruin Meal Plan, SLCC will add an extra $10 in funds. Students can receive up to $50 in bonus funds that can be used exclusively for purchases at various food courts and stores located in several different campuses.

The extra incentive gives students a reason to start using the many food courts at SLCC.

The Bruin Bites food court at the Taylorsville Redwood Campus offers a wide variety of food choices. Between the Champions Grill, the Nuevo Cafe, Ekamai, Pizza and Pawsta or the deli and coffee stations, the only dining dilemma here is deciding where to eat.

South City Campus offers three different food stations offering breakfast, lunch and hot foods such as burgers and pizza. They have a grab-and-go for sandwiches and pick-up foods at the South Side Express convenient store.

For a culinary treat, try the food court at the Miller Campus in Sandy. The School of Culinary Arts is located in the same building and offers several varieties of retail food at Jerry’s.

The JC Diner at Jordan Campus also offers selections that will please your palate in a hurry.

For more information on the meal plan or to put funds on your OneCard visit any campus information desk.
