Salt Lake Community College students are invited to participate in a discussion with local and national leaders about the future of technology in Utah.

Utah Congressman Ben McAdams will host the discussion at the Miller Campus, where he will be joined by several other leaders, including SLCC President Deneece Huftalin and Women Tech Council co-founder Sara Jones.

Salt Lake City ranked 15th in CBRE’s annual Scoring Tech Talent Report, which evaluates U.S. and Canadian markets on their ability to recruit and develop tech talent. The report also indicates that a high number of young tech graduates means a high potential for recruitment opportunities.

The roundtable discussion will be 9 a.m. Oct. 7 in the Miller Conference Room. Admission is free, and breakfast will be served. Tickets can be obtained through Eventbrite.
