Salt Lake Community College Athletics is hosting open auditions for SLCC students and community members that would like to sing or play the national anthem at SLCC sporting events.

One of the most competitive athletic programs in the nation, SLCC is home to seven nationally ranked teams: volleyball, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, baseball and softball.

In order to tryout, participants must have a background in vocal or instrumental music. Tryouts will be held in room 155 of the Lifetime Activities Center on Friday, Sept. 29 from 1 to 4 p.m.

For those that excel in the tryouts, SLCC Athletics will forward their information to the Salt Lake City Stars, the NBA D-League affiliate team of the Utah Jazz.

Anyone who is interested or has questions can email Taylor Munroe with their name, phone number, email address, resume and a short biography.

Taylor Munroe is the Director of Social Media & Video Production for SLCC Athletics.
