Take advantage of free tutoring services

The various Tutoring and Learning Centers at Salt Lake Community College aim to support students as they pursue their academic goals.

SLCC tutors are able to answer questions, clarify concepts and help students as they try to solve problems. In addition to free tutoring, students can use group study rooms, computer labs and other learning resources at no cost.

Students can go online or drop in to any of the six tutoring centers for help. Math tutoring is offered at each campus, while tutoring for additional subjects may be limited to certain locations.

Besides drop-in tutoring, students can make an appointment to reserve a 30-minute tutoring session. Focused tutoring is also available for students who need in-depth assistance.

SLCC tutoring centers started a punch card program last year to reward students for using the different learning services. Prizes are awarded at the end of each month to students who submit a card with five punches.

Call the Tutoring and Learning Centers at 801-957-6800 for more information.
