Country rock band Tim Montana and the Shrednecks entertained students on their three-campus tour during the first week of class at Salt Lake Community College.

The band woke up SLCC students with a mix of rock, country and blues Aug. 26-28 at the Jordan, South City and Taylorsville Redwood campuses.

Students and staff were also offered free food to celebrate the first week of fall semester.

Student Life and Leadership continues the country theme for their next concert.

Joe Nichols will perform on Friday, Oct. 2 at the Taylorsville Redwood Campus. Tickets are just $5 for a bleacher seat and $10 for a floor seat for students with a OneCard.

Tickets are available for purchase at Jordan, South City and Taylorsville Redwood campus information desks.
