For the first time in three years, Salt Lake Community College is ranked No. 1 in the NJCAA Division I softball poll.
SLCC started the year ranked No. 18 overall, but consistent dominance throughout the season has brought them to the top of the national rankings.

10 – Salt Lake is in the midst of a 10-game winning streak, their second one of the season.
56 – The Bruins have outscored their opponents 74-18 during their current winning streak.
00 – The number of Salt Lake catcher KyRae Kogianes. Kogianes leads the team in most offensive categories, including runs scored (45), hits (56), doubles (16), triples (4), home runs (14), RBI (63), batting average (.438) and slugging percentage (.953).
.523 – With 99 combined extra-base hits, a .523 team slugging percentage puts SLCC in the top 25 nationally.
128 – Bruin baserunners have stolen 128 bases this year, compared to just 19 by opponents. Karly Bunderson leads SLCC with 32 steals on 33 attempts.
27 – With a combined 27 wins on the mound, Baylee Reeves (10-2, 1.51 ERA), Lauren Frailey (8-0, 1.53 ERA) and Elisha Jahnke (9-3, 2.76 ERA) have combined to throw 18 complete games, 5 shutouts, 118 strikeouts and just 46 walks.
2.42 – SLCC’s strikeout-to-walk ratio is far better than their opponents (0.83).
185 – The Bruins have scored 294 runs on the season, while allowing just 109.
