Softball ends regular season with 4-game split vs. Snow

Salt Lake Community College softball finished the regular season against Scenic West Conference and in-state rival Snow College on May 2 and 3.

SLCC used late-inning heroics to defeat the Badgers 4-1 and 8-7 on Friday, May 2. Third baseman KyRae Kogianes hit a two-run double and scored in the 6th inning to lead the Bruins in the first game. In the second game, the Bruins scored 4 runs in the 7th, 3 runs off a double by designated hitter Megan Bradshaw, to complete the Friday sweep.

On Saturday, May 3, the Bruins dropped both games against Snow, losing 10-3 and 13-0 on Sophomore Day.

The Bruins end the regular season with a 33-19 overall record (31-16 SWAC). The Region 18 Tournament begins on Wednesday, May 7 at the College of Southern Idaho.
