From paintings, illustrations and photography, to literature and multimedia, including videos, short documentaries and animated shorts, Folio is one of Salt Lake Community College’s central veins for showcasing Bruin talent.

“Bruin creativity is what Folio is all about,” says Folio Art Editor Abraham Tinklepaugh.

Maintained by SLCC’s English Department since 1999, Folio is a publication that provides a platform for students to showcase their work to their fellow students.

This semester, Folio is sporting the new nickname, “Folio Nation.”

If you have a short essay, poem, memoir, or artwork that you would like to share with the SLCC community, make sure you submit to Folio.

“Anything that you can feature on a website, any literature or any literary type of art is acceptable and encouraged for submission,” says Tinklepaugh.

Folio is now accepting submissions for their Fall 2014 issue. All entries need to be submitted by October 20, 2014.

Any and all work may be submitted, but must fall under the submission guidelines located on the Folio Nation website.

More information concerning content submissions and guidelines can be viewed at www.folioslcc.org.
