I have been thinking a lot about my time at SLCC. Now that I have graduated I feel compelled to give some thanks for what I have learned and the opportunities that have come. I went to SLCC way back in the 90’s but never finished. I got married got divorced was injured and found myself back at SLCC. What a great opportunity set before me. I finished my A.S. degree in general Ed. in 2011 and an A.S. degree in Architecture Technology in 2012. The instructors there are awesome! Norman Clark, Kevin King were two men that helped me through school and gave me direction. I will never be able to thank them enough for what they have taught me. Since graduation I have been accepted into the school of Architecture at the University of Utah. None of this would have been possible if it weren’t for SLCC and some very great instructors. So I just wanted someone to know and maybe give them a pat on the back for being so interested in students well being and futures.
