The flu season has begun.
It’s that time of year when everyone starts to worry about getting sick, and Salt Lake Community College wants to help its students spend less time in the doctor’s office this coming winter.
Starting today, the Center for Health and Counseling will give out 400 free flu shots to SLCC students. The shots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention recommends getting the flu vaccine every year. The preventive care can help students lower their chances of getting the flu and missing time from school and work.
