Salt Lake Community College recently redesigned their website in an attempt to make it easier to use.
After months of development, the new mobile-friendly layout also provides SLCC students with a responsive site that uses tabs to categorize important information.
“I really like that they have the different specific tabs to guide me around the website. Also the website answers almost every question I have about the school, its great,” says 19-year-old freshman Eric Gray.
The homepage features a few tabs that students may find helpful.
Current Students
Clicking the Current Students tab will bring up different links for everyday student needs, including class schedules, advising, student employment, learning resources, tech tools, tuition and fees.
Community
The Community tab contains information that helps students interact more with the school, showing all the different activities SLCC is involved with on and off campus.
Future Students
Anyone who is considering SLCC as their next school can receive guidance through the Future Students tab. This section has information about applying to SLCC as well as the different degrees and classes available.
Feedback
The new website also includes a feedback box. Anyone who can’t find something on the new site or who has a suggestion can look for the bottom right corner of the screen to give feedback.
Visit the Web Services section of the website to learn more about the redesign.
