Why doesn’t anyone here know where you can get help for problems with Canvas?
All my professors now post stuff in Canvas, like grades, and syllabuses and papers I’m supposed to download and print off — if my professor can post them right.
When I see assignments have been posted, I click on them and nothing shows up. I ask my professors about them and all they can tell me is that it’s there. I also don’t know where I am supposed to turn in my papers or assignments on Canvas.
My professors tell me to ask the front desk in the Student Center for where to find the place to get help with Canvas. A professor should be able to help you some or tell you where you can go to get help.
Also, every time I have a question or need help with something at SLCC, I can’t find anyone on campus that can tell me where to go to get help. I always have to go bother my DRC Advisor or the DRC office. Most of the time it is always something simple and they help me or point me in the right direction or office to go to.
I know how to use a computer very well, but when you need help for things like Canvas no one here knows where to go.
Hi Matt! I understand your frustration. Let’s spread the word that there is somewhere you can get help with Canvas. Use the “Help” box found in the top right corner of Canvas. There you’ll find the info to call (844) 334-0397 or chat with a Canvas Support representative. There is also a “Resources” tab in Canvas that give you access to a “Getting Started Online Guide” with Canvas tutorials.
