CHC unveils new online appointment system

Scheduling an appointment with the Center for Health and Counseling has never been easier.

The new patient portal gives Salt Lake Community College students and staff a different way to manage their campus health records.

The CHC offers immunizations, prescriptions, STI screenings, counseling, urgent care and routine visits – all of which can be scheduled through the portal.

In addition to an appointment scheduler, the portal provides access to a patient’s health history, correspondences with providers and other medical information.

Note for new users
All SLCC students and staff must register before accessing the portal.

New users will need to fill out their name, student number, BruinMail email address, birthday and a username. An email is sent to the BruinMail address with a link to complete the registration.

Scheduling and other features

The portal will remind a user about any items on their to-do list, such as filling out health forms. Any upcoming appointments are also shown immediately after a user logs on.

To make an appointment, users can look at a calendar with available hours for different providers and services and pick a time that best fits their schedule.

While appointments are not always necessary to take advantage of services offered by the CHC, making a reservation can save time and provide peace of mind.

Users can also browse various CHC publications and educate themselves on common medical questions and concerns.

Anyone with questions about the new patient portal or other health issues can contact the CHC at 801-957-4268.
