Letter to the Editor: Where to get a good haircut

I remember a few years ago when SLCC had a great cosmetology program. I used to get my haircuts there a lot.

Poor college students could get a decent haircut at a great price and it was a good learning experience for students in training.

I have been looking for new a place ever since SLCC closed the cosmetology program. That was a dumb idea.

I have been to all kinds of places that charge up to $25 for a haircut and can never get a good, basic men’s haircut. It’s hard for a student to get a haircut near the main campus that doesn’t cost a lot.

If anyone knows where college students can get a decent haircut, I would like to know.
