It’s time to think about you. You might be used to putting everything and everyone else first, but now’s the time to put yourself first and take matters of your health to heart.

The Center for Health & Counseling knows your health matters. We promote and support student success and personal development by providing quality, affordable, culturally sensitive and confidential services through an integrative approach to medical care, mental health counseling, health education and massage therapy.

Office locations
Taylorsville Redwood Campus, STC 035
Jordan Campus, Pavilion 202
South City Campus, 1-143

Student health clinic

The Center for Health & Counseling has a full service, student health clinic where Family Nurse Practitioners evaluate, diagnose, treat and prescribe medicine for short and long-term illness and disease. The health clinic also provides physicals, immunizations, pregnancy & STD testing and walk-in availability for urgent care needs. Our goal is to keep you healthy, happy and engaged in learning. Office visits with the nurse practitioner are $10.

Counseling

Our Counseling Services understands that you do not need to solve all your problems on your own. Emotional ups and downs are part of life, but sometimes you just need to talk to someone. We are here for you. Our mental health counseling staff is comprised of a Psychologist and Licensed Clinical Social Workers. Each office visit is only $10.

Massage therapy

Feeling stressed? Massage therapy eases tension and stress; strengthens the mind/body connection; promotes a positive self-image; and helps prevent illness and other physical ailments. Our Licensed Massage Therapists provide currently enrolled students a $10, one-hour massage session each semester. Additional one-hour massage sessions are $30 for students.
