We host a Fall and Spring Semester Job & Career Fair, with over 200 employers actively recruiting SLCC students at these events.
On-campus student employment program
Our office manages the On-Campus Student Employment Grant; this program offers 30 to 40 part-time on-campus positions for qualified students (time limited, restrictions apply).
Academic credit for work experience through the Cooperative Education/Internship course
The office staff can answer questions on how students can earn academic credit for working, interning or volunteering in a position directly related to their academic major.
Individualized job search assistance and student employment referrals
Students visiting our office will take a few minutes to set up their employment account on MyPage. This process takes less than five minutes. Once complete they can review all job categories or jobs specific to their academic major.
When they have selected a job(s) they are interested in they will meet with a career/employment advisor to review the position(s).
