Salt Lake Community College softball continues to be impressive on the diamond, winning three out of four games against College of Southern Nevada in Henderson, NV this past weekend.

The Bruins started off the weekend strong, dominating both ends of a double-header on Friday, April 18 by scores of 17-9 and 10-2, respectively.

On Saturday, April 19, the SLCC offense picked up where it left off, scoring 18 runs, including 9 in the extra inning, to win 18-10.

After putting up 18 runs in the first contest, SLCC’s offense slowed down in game two, as the Coyotes, currently ranked No. 12 in NJCAA polls, took the second contest 10-2.

After going 3-1 on the road trip, SLCC improves to 31-17 overall on the season. The Bruins currently sit 2nd in the Scenic West standings with a 29-14 record.

The Bruins will wrap up the regular season May 2 and 3 here in Salt Lake City vs. in-state rival Snow College. The Region 18 Tournament will begin on May 7.
