Cirque-tacular Entertainment performs on Sept. 11, 2013 at Salt Lake Community College’s Grand Theatre on South City Campus.

More information about the Cirque-tacular performance can be found at www.slcc.edu/sll

Student Life and Leadership sponsors the event that will feature aerial and ground acrobatics, body contortion and a range of novelty acts.

“The value and use of circus is that it’s inspirational. We like to do things that are at the extreme edges of human capability, and by doing that, it reminds every one of the potential that exists within them,” says Tad Emptage, producer of Cirque-tacular Entertainment.

Acrobats from New York City and Los Angeles are preforming in the show.

Some of the performers have been seen on “So You Think You Can Dance” and “America’s Got Talent.”

Emptage says that preparation for the performance never stops, and that the material being presented for SLCC students is an accumulation of creativity and art from the last six years.

The performance begins at 7 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. Admissions are free for current SLCC students and are $5 for members of the community. Tickets are available at the information desks at all SLCC Campuses.
