SLCC Talks: March Madness

Welcome to SLCC Talks, a feature where The Globe asks fellow Salt Lake Community College students questions about various campus and community issues.

March Madness is upon us, and brackets are everywhere. Even if you don’t know anything about NCAA basketball, it doesn’t matter. Prizes are on the line, and by the second round, fan brackets are always busted. You have as good a chance as anyone, so join the madness.

How far will local teams go in the NCAA tournament? How are you picking your bracket?

“I don’t think they have good teams. I don’t have a favorite player.” – Benjamin Tarma

“I just go with local teams until they’re out, and then I will go with the big colleges. [BYU and Weber State] might win the first [round].” – Joe Moran

“I’ll do two days of research and then pick my bracket.” – James Brown
