Salt Lake Community College’s Community Writing Center invites the public to attend its DiverseCity Writing Series reading.

The event will offer an opportunity to hear from the various CWC-supported writing groups throughout the Salt Lake Valley as they share their creative work.

The DiverseCity Writing Series consists of several ongoing writing groups from all over the valley to share perspectives and grow together as writers through respectful dialog and collaboration. The groups are free and open to all genres of writing and types of writers, regardless of experience level.

Members are encouraged to share their writing in the group and provide feedback to one another. They are also invited to submit their work for consideration in the annual DiverseCity Writing Series publication, Sine Cera.

The DiverseCity Writing Series reading will be 6:30-7:30 p.m. Oct. 24 at the Draper Library.
