The winter weather in Utah brings out some of the best skiing conditions in the world.

The days are getting shorter and the winds have a noticeable chill. That can only mean one thing: Winter is here and it’s time to play in the snow!

Here is a compiled list of 2017-18 opening dates for our local ski resorts and their current season pass prices.

Brighton

Open date: Tuesday, Nov. 21

Adult pass, ages 31 to 64: $899
Millennial pass, ages 26 to 30: $750
Young Adult Pass, ages 19 to 25: $599
Military (active): $599

Snowbird

Open date: Wednesday, Nov. 22

Adult Pass: $1,199
Young Adult Pass, ages 19 to 25: $759

Park City Mountain Resort

Open date: Thursday, Nov. 23

Epic Pass: $899 — access to all Vail resorts including 30 European resorts
Epic Local Pass, ages 19 and up: $679

College Epic Local Pass, ages 17 and up: $599 — in-person pickup, ID and current schedule requried

Local pass blackout dates: Nov. 24-25; Dec. 26-31; Jan. 13, 2018; Feb. 17-18, 2018

Brian Head

Open date: Friday, Nov. 24

Full-Day Passes: $39-$79
College Season Pass: $219 — must show current student ID and be enrolled with at least 12 credits

Alta

Open date: Friday, Dec. 1

Skiers-only

Unlimited Adult Pass: $1,199
Young Adult pass: $699
Military (active) pass: $699

Alta/Snowbird combination pass

AltaSnowbird Adult pass: $1,599
Young Adult Pass: $1,349

Deer Valley

Open date: Saturday, Dec. 2

Pass and ticket information varies depending on number available. Call 800-424-3337 or 435-645-6626 for more information.

Ski-only resort

Solitude

Open date: Saturday, Dec. 2

Adult Season Pass, ages 24-64: $1199
Young Adult Season Pass, ages 18-23: $699
Active Military/Firefighter/Law Enforcement Season Pass: $699.

College Student Pass: $759 — Currently enrolled with 8 credit hours, valid student ID required

Sundance

Open date: Friday, Dec. 8

College Unlimited: $599 — must show proof of full-time enrollment and have valid ID
College Restricted: $499
Blackout dates: Dec. 26-31; Jan. 13-15, 2018; Feb. 17-19, 2018

Eagle Point

Open date: Thursday, Dec. 21

College Season Pass: $209 — must be enrolled and show student ID
Day passes: $30-$70.
Active duty military (with proper ID): 15 percent discount

Powder Mountain

Open date: TBD

Adult Season Pass, ages 19-65: $935
Teacher/Firefighter/Police or Military (active duty or retired): $470

Snowbasin

Open date: TBD

Adult Premier Season Pass, ages 27-64: $1299
Young Adult Premier Season Pass, ages 19-26: $659
Military (Active Duty or retired) Premier Season Pass: $679

Value Season Passes Adult, ages 27-64: $999
