With four and a half weeks remaining in the semester and the holidays creeping up on us, we’ll soon all have more time to fill our days with food, family, and perhaps most importantly, a subscription based service to thousands of movies on demand. Here are seven Netflix shows worth binging this holiday season.

“Arrow”

“Arrow” follows spoiled billionaire playboy, Oliver Queen, who goes missing and is presumed dead after his yacht is lost at sea. Five years later, he returns a changed man and is determined to change his life and his city by becoming a hooded vigilante with a bow.

“Stranger Things”

In this sci-fi/horror thriller, a young boy disappears, a small town uncovers a mysterious secret experiment, and a group of friends befriend a strange girl.

“Riverdale”

When death strikes the small town of Riverdale, four teens take matters into their own hands to find out who the killer is. During this time, they not only uncover the dark secrets of their town, but of their families too. If you’ve ever been a fan of “Archie Comics,” “Riverdale” may just be your new favorite show.

“Girlboss”

Inspired by the best-selling memoir, “Girlboss” follows Sophia and her newfound passion for fashion and business. As her venture grows, she learns how to cope with her new life as her own boss.

“Pretty Little Liars”

“Pretty Little Liars” follows the lives of five girls whose close-knit friendship falls apart after one in the group goes missing. A year later and the friends start to receive threatening messages from an anonymous villain.

“Haters Back Off!”

“Haters Back Off!” is a feel-good comedy that follows YouTuber Miranda Sings, an overly confident, untalented star who is determined to make it big as she embarks on a quest for fame.

“Between”

In this Netflix original, a mysterious disease decimates anyone over the age of 21. The survivors are stunned when the government quarantines the small town of Pretty Lake. Desperate to escape, they will do anything to make it out alive.
