The Salt Lake Community College volleyball team finished their six-match road trip with wins over North Idaho College and College of Southern Idaho.

The Bruins traveled to Coeur D’Alene, ID to play the NIC Cardinals on Oct. 23. NIC and SLCC split the first four sets before the Bruins recovered to close out a five-set victory (22-25, 25-21, 25-23, 15-25, 15-11).

The Bruins then traveled to Twin Falls and defeated CSI 3-1 (25-22, 18-25, 25-23, 25-21) on Oct. 25. CSI had previously swept SLCC in Bruin Arena on Oct. 3.

Regular season finale

SLCC will finish regular season play in Bruin Arena against Colorado Northwestern on Halloween night and against USU-Eastern on Saturday, Nov. 1. The Bruins are ranked 10th in the latest NJCAA poll and currently sits second in the Scenic West Athletic Conference standings with an 18-8 overall record.

SLCC students and personnel can attend the matches for free by presenting their OneCard at the ticket office.
