Music has been part of Lee’s life for many years, but his time with Heartless Breakers has been his most successful yet.

The band members have been touring around Salt Lake and are ready to show their skills across the country.

“Whether I am beating the living hell out of my drums or creating organized vibrations in the air with my guitar, it feels right and natural,” says Lee. “I don’t know any other way to put it.”

Lee has been playing drums for over 12 years and participated in bands since the age of 14.

His most memorable experience was at the age of 19 playing with Vinyl Williams on stage.

According to Lee, this is when he met the most amazing people from all over the country, which only solidified his belief that music and performing were what he was meant to do.

The Heartless Breakers have only been together for eight months, but they have already played numerous venues including The Woodshed, Urban Lounge and Kilby Court.

The band is currently planning an east coast tour this winter, and performs a mixture of rock, alternative and pop-rock music.

“There are so many things that I love about being in this band,” says Lee. “If I had to choose my favorite reason, it would be that it is the creative collaboration and creation that I get to be a part of.”

Visit the Heartless Breakers Facebook page for a list of tour dates and other band information.

In these short eight months, they have written and recorded a 4-song EP titled “Prescriptions”.

The band has evolved to include six members that improve the quality of their live performances.

“From the get go, we wanted to have as many friends involved in this project as possible,” says Lee.
