Welcome to SLCC Talks, a feature where The Globe asks fellow Salt Lake Community College students questions about various campus and community issues.

In anticipation of Spring Break we ask students in this edition of SLCC Talks where they would go.

If you could go anywhere for spring break where would you go and why?

“Mexico, but that is where I’m from.” Daniela Lopez, Business

“La Jolla, California, because it’s my favorite place in the world and I want to be at the beach.” Isabella McDonalde

“Hawaii, because I’ve been there before and I love it. I love hiking. I love nature. I love everything about Hawaii.”  McKenley Pickett, Mortuary Science

“Florida, to party.” Tenzing Thutia, Criminal Justice

“California, because I have some of the people that I know there and maybe I can visit them.”  Abakar Daoud, Chemistry
