Brady Larson, amateur snowboarder and Salt Lake Community College student, is making big moves on and off the mountain. At 20 years old Larson has just finished his first semester at SLCC and is getting ready for winter.
Though he doesn’t attend school traditionally, Larson’s plan of action includes a full-time summer class schedule, leaving winter season open to focus on progressing his career in snowboarding.
“I don’t care how long it takes me, I’ll keep working for it,” Larson says regarding his degree.
He explained how there is only a short amount of time to pursue being a professional snowboarder and now is the time he really has to focus.
“I really like studying business, I hope one day I can open my own snowboard shop,” Larson says.
Though right now he feels is not the right time to over commit himself.
His hard work and talents in snowboarding and in life have helped him grow into a young man with a ton of potential.
Larson’s largest goal of the winter is to film a video worthy of impressing his sponsors Tech Nine Snowboards, Electric Visual, Neff Headwear, and Killing The Game Apparel.
“Being a professional has always been my dream and I’m so close, yet so far,” says Larson.
Watch for Larson this winter between Brighton Resort and Park City Mountain Resort where he is considered a local and can be found shredding his heart out whenever he isn’t working for backcountry.com.
